Pembury Partners are assisting a private client based in the Palo Alto area with the search for an experienced Estate Manager. This is a fully staffed, formal and multicultural household: the ideal professional will have had experience in similar structured set up and will understanding European protocol, etiquette and service standard. The Estate manager will work closely with the EA/Chief of staff to ensure the smooth running of the property whilst leading and supporting the existing entourage. The Estate Manager will partake in the recruiting of additional team members and their training. The ideal candidate will be courteous, resilient and an excellent trouble shooter with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.

The role starts immediately, interviews taking place now. This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior professional looking for the next step.

Amongst the duties:

    • Running of the property
    • Supporting the existing staff
    • Recruiting and train additional staff members
    • Ensure rotas and shifts are organised
    • Administrative tasks, stock control, provisioning, liaising with all departments within the property
    • Organise and assist with the orchestration of private social engagements and dinners
    • Project management and overseeing renovations
    • Work closely with Principal’s EA

Skillset required:

    • Eligible to work in the USA
    • Fluent English speaking, Italian speaking a huge bonus
    • Resilient, unflappable, excellent communicator
    • Keen eye for detail
    • Discreet
