Pembury Partners are currently searching for an exceptional Teacher/Tutor/Governess/Governor for a private client based in North London.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified teacher with strong skills in mathematics and numeric tutoring able to support a very young yet very talented student of 4 years of age. The teacher will be proactive and extremely educationally-oriented yet nurturing and able to follow the social development and care for the little one’s wellbeing. This is a private household-based role and the professional will be working alongside additional member of staff.
The ideal candidate will possess a Master degree in Education and will specialise in scientific subjects such as mathematics and calculus. The ability to play chess and read/play music is highly sought after

Amongst the duties:

- Monday to Friday, 2pm to 7pm
- Homework assistance and teaching of various subjects (Maths in particular)
- Supporting extracurricular activities
- Proactively partake in the academic development of the little one
- Play music and chess with the child
- Assist with orchestration of activities
- Chaperoning
- Inventory of uniform and school kits
- Caring for wellbeing of the little one
- Assist with daily routines
Skillset required:

- Master’s Degree – PGCE – specialising in maths and science
- Piano and chess player- able to read music
- Experience in private households
- Resilient, educationally driven
- Able to travel if required
- Caring, supportive with a good sense of humour
