Pembury Partners are looking for a full time Head Housekeeper for a private household in SW London. The property is split over three levels and the tone of the household is formal; the Clients employ a launderess and a part time Chef therefore the Head Housekeeper will entirely manage the upkeep of the property and partake in menu planning, shopping and preparation of the family meals (small family of 3). The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for details, will be proactive ad ensure the smooth running of the property. The professional will work alongside the PA and make sure all that needs organising is taken care of. Knowledge of silver service is a huge bonus. The role is to start asap

Amongst the duties:

- 5 days per week, Monday to Friday 7/7.30am to 6/6.30pm
- Housekeeping of the property
- Working alongside the Chef
- Menu planning, shopping and cooking of simple family meals – when Chef is not working
- Liaise with the PA and the launderess
- Ensure the house is fully stocked, purchase provisions if and when necessary
- Liaising with contractors, tradesmen and third parties
- Taking the lead when needed
- Travel with Family
Skillset required:

- Experienced in similar settings, longevity sought after
- Cooking skills and service
- Eye for detail
- Leadership within role and proactiveness
- IT savvy (online shopping etc)
- Spoken Italian a bonus not a must
Salary: £45k gpa negotiable
