Pembury Partners are assisting our client based in South Manchester with the search of a professional, hands-on Housekeeper/Cook for their lovely home. The ideal candidate will be a skilled Housekeeper with the ability to work to multitask and work to exceptionally high standards, with a love of cooking. This suits someone flexible in their approach with a “can-do,” cheerful, happy attitude who enjoys cooking and being around children.
Previous experience working in a private household is essential.

Amongst the duties:
- Working approximately 11am to 7pm five days a week
- All housekeeping duties on the property
- Managing and carrying out a turn-down service
- High standard laundry and ironing
- Ensuring all surfaces/silverware/furniture are kept in excellent condition, dusted and polished across the property
- Cooking lunch and dinner for the family for the family in family style meals
- Liaising with contractors and external maintenance staff for the home
- Shopping for the home
Skillset required:
- Housekeeping experience to an exceptional standard
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
- Previous experience within a private household
- Trustworthy and the ability to be completely discreet
- Excellent ability to follow instructions and to use initiative on tasks
- Excellent time-management skills
- Solution driven go-getter attitude
- A genuine enjoyment of cooking
Salary: £35,000 per annum
