Pembury Partners are assisting a returning client with the search for an experienced and talented Lady’s Maid for a fully staffed and traditionally run estate nestled in the middle of Berkshire. The role has most definitely formal and traditional tones, the ideal candidate will have experience in wardrobe management and upkeep, repair work, as well as providing seamless service during turn down, service and upkeep of the quarters. The Lady’s Maid will work alongside the team and closely to the Head Butler : they will assist the female Principal directly. Travel will be involved at international and domestic level : this role will suit a flexible professional able to work to very high standards.
The role starts as soon as the right person is found. Only professionals eligible to work in the UK will be considered. Driving with own car and fluent English a must.

Amongst the duties:

- Full wardrobe management and upkeep (washing laundering handwashing and pressing)
- Repair work
- Keeping Inventory and logs of items
- Packing and unpacking
- Assistance with housekeeping and service
- Turn down
- International and domestic travel
- Provisioning and stock control
- Upkeep of defined quarters within the estate
- Assist the female principal with daily tasks as required
Skillset required:

- Experience in similar roles
- Proactive, intuitive and keen eye for fashion
- Eligible to work in the UK – fluency in English language
- A team player – presentable and detailed
- Must drive and have own car
Salary and benefits: own separate cottage, service allowance, salary up to £50kgpa
