Pembury Partners are assisting our High-Profile Client based in Central London in the search of a Private Chef for their family home. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing and cooking authentic family style food with a focus on Japanese and Mediterranean food. Our client is looking for a Chef who can use the freshest, highest quality organic ingredients sourced locally and internationally, preparing beautiful and delicious meals. This role will involve extensive international travel as a considerable amount of down time.

Amongst the duties:
- Cooking lunch and dinner, for 9 staff members & 4 family members Tuesday to Saturday
- Focus on authentic Japanese & Mediterranean cuisine with a focus on family style and occasional fine dining
- Preparing and cooking beautifully presented family style meals with occasional fine-dining when the family have guests
- Extensive menu development, creation, and planning
- Meal related budget management and shopping
- Management of the kitchen
- Using fresh, organic high-quality produce sourced locally and internationally
- International travel at least 3 times per year, spending one month abroad with each trip
Skillset required:
- Previous experience within a large, fully staffed private household is essential
- Fluent in Italian highly beneficial but not essential
- Confident knowledge of Japanese & Mediterranean cuisine
- A personable, friendly attitude
- Excellent attention to detail
- A passion for healthy, fresh, organic cooking
- Excellent communication skills
- Impeccable health & safety and hygiene knowledge
- Willing to travel internationally for long periods of time
Benefits and salary: £60,000 to £70,000 annually
