Family Assistant Job

Pembury Partners are delighted to be assisting London-based Clients looking to add an exceptionally energetic team player to their family. The Clients  are looking for a friendly, professional person who is flexible and excellent with looking after the needs of their children who are almost 4, 7 and 10 years of age. This is a fully staffed household and the ideal candidate will be  collaborative, respectful as well as hands- : someone who will muck-in alongside the rest of the staff members when stretched and also take initiative. You have a wide variety of responsibilities, supporting not only the children and the parents but being supportive to the PA, the Housekeeper and the Chef. Synchronizing tutors or weekend help, arranging children’s parties, keeping track of their social calendars, stocking up on their school uniform requirements or stationary shopping. You are a multi tasker who possesses problem solving skills and the flexibility and willingness to go with the flow.  This is a busy family who travel between London and their 2nd home outside of London and will travel internationally when conditions are better in the year.

Role starts in March 2021.

Amongst the duties:

Traveling with the family
Working closely with other household staff
Packing for family for holiday and weekends away
7am to 7pm 5 days a week
Cooking for the children if the chef is not around.
Organise closets, pantries & drawers when needed.
Housekeeping support
Organizing children’s social activities
Driving children to activities and school
Running errands when requested

Skill Set required:

Extensive childcare experience
Fluent in English
Good work ethic
Driver must be very experienced.
Hugely organised, eye for detail  and proactive
Able to take Initiative.
Similar experience in comparable settings
Collaborative team player

The Baby or Maternity Nurse will be supportive, proficient at routine establishing and will be able to work and assist according to the Client’s rhythms and preferences. The professional will take care of the new born and provide postnatal support and assistance to Mum. The Principals are looking for a highly experienced professional in possession of Canadian passport/eligible to work in Canada.

Amongst the duties:

24/7 schedule with support for breaks

Pembury Partners are assisting an international client based in Greenwich, Connecticut USA, looking to hire an experienced live-in rider trainer and stable manager  couple with USA passports for a beautiful private estate with stable of 20 stalls.

This role is best suited to someone prepared to make a long-term commitment. The ideal couple  will be  professional, reliable, and comfortable living in close proximity of the estate owners. Separate accommodation on estate grounds offered.

We are looking for a couple with a genuine love for horses and excellent relevant experience to see to the daily high-quality care of the family’s five horses, as well as the day to day running of the stables.

The role starts asap.

Amongst the duties:

Working alongside the Principals’ experienced current manager with a view to one day take over from them
Caring for 5 horses, 3 of which are very active
Mucking out, feeding, grooming, cleaning the stables, clipping, blanketing, wrapping, trailering and a good understanding of basic equine ailments and wellbeing of the horses is also required.
Ride daily, including with the two Principals and their adult and teenage children
Cover for the current Manager when off duty
Oversee the maintenance of facilities and supplies and keep detailed records..
Ensure safety procedures at all times

Skillset required :

Able to work independently with little supervision
