Travelling Wellbeing Therapist Job

Pembury Partners are looking for an experience wellbeing therapist for a travelling role with an international client primarily based in Doha, Qatar. The role will be a dynamic one as the Principals travel within the region and globally. The ideal candidate will have experience in the specialisms required, will be hard working and committed and will be able to work in a team and independently. The role is within formal settings and palace protocol may apply, induction will be given. The position will suit a professional looking to transitioning into private households and travel the world. Amongst the duties:

Deliver a variety of spa services (body treatments, massages, facials, waxing and manicure/pedicure, hot stone massage) in a safe and comfortable manner
Maintain equipment and sample inventory of products
Keep a clean and stocked room
Uphold hygiene standards and follow health and safety regulations
Cooperate with and report to Management for any arising issues
Apply best practices and be up to date with market trends
Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, changing treatment room sheets, and sterilizing all instruments and equipment before each use.

Skillset required :

Proven work experience as a Spa Therapist
Hands on experience in massage techniques, manicures, pedicures, waxing and face/body therapies
Excellent knowledge of English language
Good Communication
Excellent presentation
Positive attitude

Salary and benefits : accommodation + healthcare + £45 to £55 k per annum tax free – this is negotiable depending on experience.

Junior Laundress Job

Pembury Partners are scouting for an experienced  Laundress for a prestigious property based in Monte Carlo, on the Côte d’Azur. The property is formal with a full entourage of private professionals already in place. This position might  suit a junior  professional with experience in either similar settings or in luxury hotel valeting/laundry management : a Senior Laundress is already in place and they will be able to train and provide ongoing support. The ideal candidate will speak French fluently, be based locally within commutable distance and will be committed to the role. This opportunity offers longevity and career progression within the household. The role may require a small amount of travel to another estate in central Europe where accommodation will be provided. Amongst the duties:

Laundry management
Use of steam roller, professional irons
Wardrobe management
Work in a team and alongside a Senior Laundress
Provisioning for the laundry department
5 days per week (usually Monday to Friday)
Work in collaboration with the Housekeeping and Service teams to ensure smooth delivery of operations

The role will be split between central Europe and the south of France and the professional will be travelling between the two locations to support the Principal. The ideal professional will have had extensive experience in laundry management, caring for couture, delicate garments and prestigious fabrics and will have knowledge in operating steam rollers and professional irons. The properties are fully staffed on both locations and retain a traditional and formal structure: the travelling team works together and support each other.
The ideal professional will be discreet, committed and will be respectful and kind-hearted, values very important to the Principal and the existing entourage. Accommodation, both separate and in house, provided.
The role is to start as soon as possible and covid-secure procedures are in place. For working eligibility, only candidates with a EU or a UK passport will be able to apply.

A live in butler/houseman is sought to provide a discreet and daily service to an UHNW family at their home in Greenwich, Connecticut, USA This is a complex and structured estate and the right professional will be able to work independently and in a team. This is an all-encompassing role and responsibilities are varied. The ideal candidate will be flexible, hard-working, and adaptable. The Butler/Houseman will be on duty 5 days per week on a flexible schedule to be agreed in advance with two consecutive days off.

The start date is flexible and dependant of the professional’s availability. The Butler /Houseman will be eligible to work in the USA.

Amongst the duties:

Oversight of the principal’s property, organising and co-ordinating tradespeople for regular planned, and reactive, maintenance.
To include but not limited to light self-maintenance such as the replacement of light bulbs, and basic pool maintenance
Daily but light cooking duties, principally the preparation of the main evening meal for the family
Service
Occasional driving duties to include driving the principals and family
Running errands; including provisioning and other household shopping
Caretaking of the family’s five friendly dogs – walks, administration of medications and monthly treatments, booking of veterinary appointments
Light IT support such as updating iPads, rebooting Wi-Fi, and signing into streaming accounts on the television systems
Care and maintenance of the vehicle fleet of 6 vehicles.
Travel with the family to their homes in the Caribbean and Europe

Skillset required:

Family are wanting 6 days a week
Schedule is usually 9am to 8pm with a 3 hour break during the day from 12:30-3:30pm
All general housekeeping
Laundry and ironing (there is support with this)
Tidying and organising cupboards / spaces / drawers
Assisting with childcare – shared care with mum
help with bath and bedtime routines when needed
No need to cook for family full time as the Principles have a chef but if needed cook for children
Taking responsibility for feeding and cleaning up after a small dog & a rabbit
