The property is fully staffed and informal: all professionals work in good synergy in order to ensure the smooth running of the residence and the family dynamics. The role will require service at times, especially during events.
The ideal candidate will be well connected, have good management skills and an understanding of high tech properties. The family have other properties therefore this role will eventually require liaising with other staff in other residences. Pembury Partners are assisting our Client, a Pro Footballer based in East London and Essex, in the search for a Professional Mercedes V Class Driver/Chauffeur. This is a 10 month FTC starting asap and ending at the end of June 2023.
The main duties of the role will be to drive the Client to and from professional and private appointments 5 – 7 days per week. The Client is currently based in East London, however could potentially move into the Essex area. This is a full time live out role, suiting a professional candidate based in the area and able to apply full flexibility to the role in regards to hours and days of work.
Please note that a car will not be provided, and all candidates will need to own a Mercedes V Class vehicle and have a full, clean UK driving licence.

The role will entail driving the Principals and family members to their various properties ( with focus in Oxfordshire and London), caring for the fleet of cars whilst being able to work seamlessly with the rest or the household team.
Whilst the main duties are as per above, the ideal chauffeur will possess the ability and inclination to help the team in the house especially during quiet times when the Principals are out of the country. The role will suit an experienced, conscientious and above all discreet Chauffeur happy to work by schedule and be proactive.
This is a live-in position and the allocated separate accommodation is a two bedroom house on the curtilage of the Estate.

The role will entail airport transfers and pickups, driving the Principal to training grounds and locations, taking the client shopping. Schedules will be discussed in advance so that itineraries can be organised. The Principal will frequently travel domestically and internationally, therefore the chauffer will have down time regularly. Car will be provided.
The ideal candidate will speak a little English or French in addition to Italian in order to be able to communicate with the Principal and his entourage. Must be discreet and able to work in a team.

The Principals currently split their time between two properties and will be permanently moving to a new estate in the same area by the end of 2022. The Head Housekeeper will assist the family in their current household and ensure the smooth running of the same; a housekeeper is also employed and will be assisting with daily duties. The Head Housekeeper will support with the transition into the new household and will lead the housekeeping team retaining the same standards and operations. This is a fully staffed property with a formal tone albeit a family home.
The Head Housekeeper will care for the family beloved dogs in the Principals’ absence: this is a pre-requisite for the role therefore an animal lover and a flexible professional happy to assist on these terms is a must. The Head Housekeeper will be an excellent team leader and will have a proactive and solution-driven mind-set: this is an excellent opportunity for an established housekeeper looking to transitioning into a senior role with supervisory duties.
